Michael Mused - Background
Michael Mused is a dutch recording artist and composer.He was born on July 30th 1969
in Driebergen The Netherlands. During the 1980s and -90s he was the leader, singer and
songwriter of various bands performing throughout The Netherlands.
He gained a lot of experience in playing various musical instruments and arranging music.
In 1998 he made a very big change in his life by making the choice to give up his house and belongings and going on an inner and outer journey "rolled into one" so to speak.
This change came from a series of inner experiences which can be described as spiritual allthough Michael might prefer to call it something like a call from the authentic self inside.
During this travelling period which took around 10 years all together Michael gained a lot of wisdom and experience. Many times through trial and error, probably the best way to learn. it was also a time of purification and refinement.
All this increased his humour and his abillity to see through the ego, his own and also another one's ego. Michael never stopped playing and making music, he has recorded quite a lot of music during the last 10 years.The big difference is that he now plays all instruments himself and records his own compositions and songs.It is always difficult to lable music and Michael does not like to lable his, also because it is so eclectic.
Whatever it may be called, it all carries a certain profoundness and vibes of peace, truth, love and liberty. < back to homepage
